Welcome to the home of the Idaho Pasture Pig Breed Association where farms have taken bacon to greener pastures. The IPP hog has been making waves in pastures, becoming the most versatile breed that can be raised by both the small family homestead and on the larger farms right next to cattle & goats. These fascinating pigs grow faster & larger than the true historically known pasture pigs and can maintain healthy vibrant pastures when rotationally grazed. The notable upturned snout discourages rooting and promotes above ground foraging and grazing behavior. If that isn't amazing enough, just take a visit to your local breeder and enjoy the charismatic disposition they present when you walk up to greet them at the gate.
