What is an Idaho Pasture Pig?The Idaho Pasture Pig (IPP) is a medium-sized pig that was developed to be the perfect homestead and farm pasture-raised pig with a wonderful temperament, great mothering abilities, and hardy, all while being raised out on the Pasture. Why should I become a member?Becoming a member helps support the breed. It also enables you to be a part of activities such as shows and expos, elections, educational events, and access to educational videos free of charge. To join, check out the Members Section & click on Membership Info.

How much does it cost to become a member and what does the money go for?Annual membership is $50 a year with membership running from January 1st through December 31st. Your membership dues help put on the annual show and expo, educational material throughout the year, and access to the association's Facebook page and the association classified section on the website all free of charge with membership

What educational resources do you provide?Information on the IPP confirmation, information of how COI works, history of the breed, CROWDCAST and zoom educational videos. CROWDCAST is a podcast that members have free access to view and watch podcasts done in the past as well as the new ones that we do.

Where can I find a breeder close to me?Our Members section will take you to an interactive map of the United States where you can click on any state and find a list of registered breeders.

Are you working with any other organization associated with the breed?The Idaho Pasture Pig Breed Association has a good working relationship with the Idaho Pasture Pig Registry. Click HERE to go to their website.
